This service is operated under the business name Looksera. References in this notice to "Looksera", "we", or "us" mean that business. We act as the data controller for personal information processed through the Looksera product.

• We aim to keep your photos and personal information secure, and we use encryption in transit and at rest where reasonably possible.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We use Stripe to process payments securely. Looksera does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
• You can request access to or deletion of your account and associated data.

Account information (such as your email and authentication identifiers), photos you upload, your appearance profile and suggestions generated by Looksera, optional appearance-related inputs you choose to share, support correspondence, and basic usage and device information (such as IP address and browser type) that helps us operate the product.

To create your appearance profile and personalized suggestions, to operate, secure and improve Looksera, to provide customer support, to process payments through Stripe, to detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and to communicate with you about the service. AI processing may occur through systems and service providers we use to operate Looksera.

• Performance of a contract — providing the Looksera service you have signed up for, including generating your appearance profile and processing your purchases.
• Legitimate interests — securing the service, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving product quality, balanced against your rights.
• Consent — where you have given it, for example for optional analytics, marketing emails, or optional appearance-related inputs you choose to share. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, including tax and accounting rules associated with your purchase.

• Stripe — our payment processor, who handles checkout, billing, taxes, invoicing, and subscription billing. We use Stripe to process payments securely and Looksera does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
• Cloud hosting and database providers — used to store your account data, photos and generated profiles.
• AI model and inference providers — used to process your photos and generate appearance suggestions.
• Email and analytics providers — used to deliver transactional emails and measure product usage.
• Professional advisers and authorities — where reasonably necessary, including to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our rights.

Some of the providers above may process your data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

We retain your photos and appearance profiles for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and for a limited period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and security obligations. Following a deletion request, we work to remove personal information in line with our retention schedule.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (UK/EEA) or applicable regulator (e.g. under the CCPA in California). You can use in-app controls or the Contact Us form to make a request.

We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our hosting providers. No service is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and notify you of material incidents as required by law.
